Paint O'Clock!
This afternoon in 538! Photos and the result to follow...
Pity I'll miss that. Let's just say that I played too much Hockey and have broken my back. Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but at least my back hurts!
That was a fantastic social event, and it was great to see the painting skills of some of our colleagues. The last time I held a paintbrush in my hand was... probably around the time my profile photo was taken!
Sounds awesome, the closest i've come to any art in the last few weeks is the Muon Range Detector for SciBooNE here at Fermilab. Somehow it ended up being painted pink! I cant wait to see photos of the Paint o'clock masterpiece!
Is that the closest you've come to art? What about the kickoff return for a touchdown in the Superbowl? You might not consider it art, but it was certainly a thing of beauty!
Anyway, I'm sorry I missed the social event. Can't wait to see the photos!
Anyone can post comments to blog entries, you don't have to be an Imperial HEP group member, or be affiliated to the group or anything! Primary school pupils, politicians, pensioners, publicans are all welcome -- not just physicists.... Please use your Google account if you can though, or at least sign it with resembling your real life name!

By the way, the above comment was in reference to Joe's comment about not coming close to art, not about Paint O'Clock!
